I have read several threads over the last 2 years that I have been on this forum about looking for add on services to add to your bottom line. Windshield repair is an excellent choice for this. You can get everything you need to get started for about 6 to 8 hundred dollars. I do an average of 6 to 7 windshields a week at $35 per. That is 210 to 245 dollars a week or 11000 to 12500 per year. The cost is less than 1.00 per windshield. The nice part about it is that the windshield requires very...

I use a "Liquid Resins" windshield kit. Was using the resin pump for the application of resin into the chips. Was never satisfied with the results. I have changed to the novus injector.Oh my gawd!!!! Now I never have any cracks or shadows that don't fill. They all come out great. All I have left when I'm done is the drill hole distortion. Can't say enough about these things.

Is there a method for repairing scrathed windshields? This windshield looks as if it has a clear coat or something like that on it that has gotten scratched by the wipers and is creating a fogged look. It is very difficult to see through the windshield and the dealer wants to know if it can be repaired or replaced.

Comment please if you have experience in this area.
Thanks

I was told this past Friday by the mobile windshield replacement guy that services my brothers & my rental cars, that it was illegal to do windshield repairs on the drivers side of a windshield in Florida... He said it was because of "Possible" distortion that may be left behind after the repair is done. Does anyone that does WSR have any info. on this subject ? Are there any other states where this may be an issue ?

Thanx,
